Barbara Potvin joined the Keller Williams Real Estate Sales Agents Team in Dec. of 2010 after owning her own retail store for the past 7 years. Barbara's store, The New England Sampler which specialized in NH and New England specialty foods and products. Barbara's award winning service was commended with the Pride of New England Award which she received for Customer Service Excellence, Creative Merchandising and Community Service. Barbara received a first place Golden Mike Award for her Individual Retail Commercial. Barbara Potvin's retail store, The New England Sampler was named as a Fast 50 Gift Shop for growth in gift basket sales. Barbara promises to continue her tradition of Excellence in Customer Service and Creative Merchandising in helping her clients market their houses for sale and in helping prospective homeowners find their new homes. Prior to owning and managing The New England Sampler Barbara Potvin was a Special Education Director, Assistant Principal and Educator, with 17 years experience in public education. Mrs. Potvin spends her free time giving back to her community. She is the Vice Chair of downtown Manchester's Central Business Service District (CBSD) Advisory Board, a board which provides recommendations and feedback to Manchester's Board of Mayor and Alderman. Barbara currently volunteers for the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery, driving people to their chemotherapy, radiation and doctors appointments. Barbara has been on the Board of Directors for The Way Home, the Southern NH Women's Business Network, and Manchester's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Planning Committee. She founded The Shoppes of Historic Downtown Manchester Merchants Association. Barbara Potvin has been married to Thomas Potvin, Manchester Firefighter for 28 years. She has two sons, Jacob and Jarrod and a Corgi named Colby. |
